As part of our mission to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs, Grant’s Gift Foundation donated an inspirational book, Born an Angel, to each elementary school in the School System. The story is written by an eleven year old girl with a special needs sister and illustrates how together they overcame obstacles and spent joyous moments together.
Michael and Angie de la Houssaye presented the books to Superintendent W. L. “Trey” Folse, III on behalf of the foundation. The books will be made available to schools to use in their lessons about acceptance, tolerance, appreciation and willingness to give to others.
