ATRS COMMUNITY CONSERVATION PROGRAM
ATRS, through its Community Conservation Program, donates money each month based on the weight of the clothing, shoes, and textiles they collect in their recycling bins. This means that the more textiles that are collected and recycled, the more funds are generated to support local charities, including Grant's Gift Foundation.
The ATRS bins are located throughout St. Tammany and Tangipahoa Parishes, at businesses and organizations that have agreed to become sponsor locations for the program. These sponsor locations provide a convenient location for individuals to donate their gently used clothing, shoes, and textiles, and by doing so, they are supporting local charities and reducing waste in landfills.
We are grateful to the sponsor locations for their support of our partnership with ATRS and for providing a convenient location for individuals to donate their gently used textiles. With each donation made, we are able to provide support to families affected by autism and other special needs, and we are grateful for the support of the community in helping us to achieve our mission.
